My Christmas reading list, or should I say, listening list.

If you’re on Scribd, you’ve probably heard that they’ve added 30,000 audiobooks to their subscription list.

This made me happy especially this holiday season when things are hectic for me and I couldn’t find the time to read. So it helps to have some audio titles on hand that I could just load into my iPhone and listen to while doing my Christmas shopping or cooking or whatever it is that needs my attention this Christmas.

I have come to appreciate the convenience that audiobooks offer when RL gets hectic for me, and listening to audiobooks is really a great way to keep up with your reading list.

I haven’t had the time to browse all of their romance titles, but I’ve seen a lot of Eloisa James, Loretta Chase and Sarah McLean in there. I’m seeing a lot of historicals, which is wonderful for me since I haven’t been reading HRs lately.

So for this holiday season, I have three audiobooks on queue. First up is Loretta Chase’s Lord of Scoundrels. Next is Georgette Heyer’s The Convenient Marriage. And then Sarah MacLean’s Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake. Out of the three, I’ve only read Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake and loved it. I’m really excited to listen to the audio version of it though.

So my holiday listening list is set. What about you? Do you listen to audio books? And if you do, which audiobooks are you planning to listen to this holiday season?
