Did you guys hear that? That’s the sound of an impeding cat fight between Lana from Dirty Girl Romance and Alex from Alleskelle Blogs but Mostly Reads. Why you say? Because we’re talking about Tino and Nova Moretti. And you know what that means… Okay. Not really but you know what I mean. On a more serious note though, we have the lovely Kele Moon joining us for our Hooker Talk this week, and it was the bomb. I mean, between Alex and Lana cat-fighting over Nova and Tino, we did manage to get Kele to talk about her upcoming book The Enfocer, among other things. She also shared some of her thoughts and feelings about these characters that we’ve come to know and love. And she’s also giving us an exclusive excerpt. So watch out for that at the end of our talk. So, shall we begin?? Lana: So let’s get right into it then? Like a gang bang. Alex: Oh we’re doing this now? *affixing knives, guns ready, claws unsheathed* Kele: LOL! Geri: Speaking of gangbang, we’re officially welcoming Kele to the Hooker lair! Lana: Fair warning, Kele, we’re probably going to be taking regular intermissions to bitch fight over Nova. So…. Kele: That’s fine. […]
The Slayer by Kele Moon is hands down one of my favorite reads this year. I was simply in awe of how Kele Moon brought Chuito and Alaine’s story to life with this book. If you don’t believe me, check out my gushing review for The Slayer HERE. I simply adored this book and I was in massive hangover after reading it. It took me a while to recover from it to be honest.
I totally blame Kele Moon for sending me through the depths of book funk hell with The Slayer. This book was raw, gritty, violent, brimming with passion and sensuality. I simply loved it. My love affair with this author’s work started with Crossing the Line from her Battered Hearts series, which stands as one of my favorite romances ever, and since then I have devoured her other books. The Slayer is the second book from her Untamed Hearts series which is a spin-off of Battered Hearts.
This review popped up on my Goodreads feed and suddenly, I was feeling all the feels just from reading it. Not only is this my first Kele Moon but this is the book which turned me into a Kele Moon fangirl for life. You know you’ve read something special when after more than a year, reading the review for it still makes your heart stop and clench in emotion. Crossing the Line is indeed very special. I was totally captivated by Wyatt and Tabitha’s story. This is the kind of story that makes you believe in heroes and happily ever afters. In other words, my favorite kind of story.
