Happy Sunday, everyone! We’re going to do something different today. Instead of sharing a review with you, I’m going to share a few teasers from a new book by Jennifer Leighton. Jennifer and I knew one another from Goodreads, and I’m so excited to share some details about her new book with you.
Blurb Wyatt Armstrong never imagined that instead of celebrating his college graduation, he and his twin sister would be dealing with the death of their parents. He heads to their summer home in Harborside, Massachusetts, with his best friend Cassidy Lowell in tow, to deal with his parents’ death and to try to figure out his next step. Six foot two, infuriatingly handsome, and flirtatious, Wyatt Armstrong has always been there for Cassidy, helping her pass her classes and fend off unwanted advances, while driving her insane with his one-night stands—but that’s what best friends are for, isn’t it? Having each other’s backs. There was never any doubt that she would accompany him to his family’s summer home—but she never expected to begin seeing Wyatt as more than a friend. Or has she been ignoring her feelings all along? It’s impossible to ignore the sizzling heat between them as Wyatt and Cassidy get even closer, but Cassidy knows Wyatt’s past, and she has a real job to begin in the fall. Hey lovelies! I was given a privilege to ask the amazing Lauren Layne a few questions about her books, her writing, etc, and I can’t wait to share them all with you. As you know, Crushed is one of my faves this year. If you haven’t yet, your can read my review here. I absolutely adored this book, and Chloe is one of my favorite LL heroine. So if you haven’t read this one, you can purchase Crushed on Amazon, B&N, iTunes and Kobo.
My heart is still on the floor. I have yet to pick it up because Penny Reid just kicked it out of my ribcage with that cliffie. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for the next installment because the next book in this highly entertaining series will be released within a month after this one. So have no fear.
