So many amazing books releasing today, and I can’t seem to keep up. My fingers are so busy one-clicking, it’s insane. And it’s only the second day of June folks. If I keep this up, I’d be broke by the end of this month. :p
First up. Asking For It by Lilah Pace. This book was fantastic. It’s dark and edgy without being OTT. I highly recommend this book. It deals with a controversial topic, which Lilah Pace handled brilliantly.
Up next is One Night With A Billionaire by Jessica Clare. The hero made this book for me. Cade Archer, despite his hung ups, pursued our heroine Kylie throughout the book and it was HOT! I adored this book. It’s sweet and fun with a little bit of angst. While this is the sixth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
Those are the books that I’ve actually read and recommend. But there are plenty of books releasing today that I’m itching to get my hands on.
Suddenly One Summer by Julie James. This one is up next for me. Julie James is a one-click author. She only releases like one book a year but they are so good, it’s worth the wait. This isn’t part of her FBI/US Attorney series but it still features a lawyer heroine and an investigative journalist hero. I hope to read it this week, so watch out for my review on this site.
Another book that I’ve been waiting for is Shards of Hope by Nalini Singh. This is the 14th book off of her phenomenal Psy-Changeling series. It is very pricey though at $11.43, so you might want to take that into consideration.
Samantha Young is also releasing a book today. Moonlight On Nightingale Way is the last book from her popular On Dublin Street series. I’ve followed this series from its first book up to this last book. I haven’t read it yet. I’m kind of putting it off because it’s making me sad. I don’t want to say goodbye to the characters of the series yet. I’m not yet ready. But yeah, this one is also on my shortlist this week.
For all you romantic suspense fans, don’t worry. Elle Kennedy’s Midnight Captive also dropped today. I haven’t started this series but I am familiar with Elle Kennedy’s writing style. And more importantly, I love Elle’s books and this one looks really, really good.
Like I said, there are plenty of books being released today, but these are the books that I’m anxiously waiting to read. I only have two recommendations for you though — Asking For It by Lilah Pace and One Night with a Billionaire by Jessica Clare.
I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I did. Happy reading!
