Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a great one. Isn’t it amazing how fast the year has gone? I’m kind of bummed but at the same time excited for what 2015 has in store for all of us. In just a few days, we’re going to say goodbye to 2014 and say hello to 2015. So before the year ends, and before I reveal my top reads for 2014, I thought I’m going to post a teaser and cover for two of my highly anticipated books for 2015.
Now, I’ve already read the first book, and since this will be release on January 6th, I’m going to hold on to my review for a little while before sharing it you. So I thought, a teaser would suffice. So which book am I talking about, you ask? Well, it’s this book called Falling Away by Penelope Douglas. It’s the third book from her Falling Away Series, and it’s about Jax Trent and KC Carter.
To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about reading this book because the main character wasn’t my favorite person in Bully, which was the first book in the series. But let me tell you that I fell in LOVE with KC’s character in this book. I know many who like me are apprehensive about reading this well for the same reason, but guys, let me tell you there’s nothing to fear. The author did a phenomenal job of making KC the kind of heroine we want to root for. And don’t even get me started about Jax or else this post will reach 1,000 words, and I don’t really want to do that.
So if you haven’t done it yet, pre-orders for Falling Away are up on Amazon and you can pre-order them here. And oh, don’t if you haven’t already, you can add this book to your Goodreads shelf right here.
Now that’s out of the way, here’s a sizzling hot teaser from the book. And when I say sizzling hot, I mean, SIZZLING HOT.
I hope to post some more teasers before the release date, and of course, I hope to post my review before then.
Now for the second book, I’m going to be sharing the cover for Jay McLean’s book called Where The Road Takes Me. This book is about a girl named Chloe and a basketball star named Blake.
Chloe has one plan for the future, and one plan only: the road. She’s made a promise to herself: don’t let anyone in, and don’t let anyone love her. She’s learned the hard way what happens if she breaks her rules. So she’s focused on being invisible and waiting until she can set out on the road—her dream of freedom, at least for a little while.Blake Hunter is a basketball star who has it all—everything about him looks perfect to those on the other side of his protective walls. He can’t let anyone see the shattered pieces behind the flawless facade or else all his hopes and dreams will disappear. One dark night throws Chloe and Blake together, changing everything for Blake. For Chloe, nothing changes: she has the road, and she’s focused on it. But when the so-called perfect boy starts to notice the invisible girl, they discover that sometimes with love, no one knows where the road may lead.
